Denise Jeffrey has worked as the Principal support at Street Academy for two years. She spent her entire career, thirty-three years, with the Oakland Unified School District. She taught secondary school for twenty-one years and was a high school assistant principal and principal at Castlemont High School for eleven years.

Since retiring in 2011 she decided to lend a much needed support by coaching and mentoring secondary administrators.
Denise received her BA from U.C. Berkeley, teaching credential from S.F. State University, Masters of Arts Degree in Educational Leaderships and Administrative Service Credential from Cal. State University East Bay.
